From paper records to digital stores management
The authority manages repairs and maintenance for its owned assets. Its stores teams pick orders for the teams carrying out that work, making stock visibility and a traceable record of activity important parts of the operation.
Paper records and spreadsheets made these areas a priority, alongside the need to reduce manual data entry. K-Store V6 provides a digital system for both office administration and warehouse tasks.
Connected workflows from goods in to despatch
Web-based administration supports office users, while warehouse staff use Wi-Fi scanners to carry out operational tasks. The connected workflow covers goods in, put-away, picking and despatch, supported by stocktaking and activity logging.
- Stock visibility: a digital record supports the management of stock across daily stores activity.
- Picking traceability: records capture who picked each item, when it was picked and the quantity taken.
- Activity logging: activity in other parts of the system is also logged and tracked.
- Live order dashboards: staff can follow jobs waiting, in progress and despatched as orders move through the operation.
Configuration, migration, training and support
KEYMAS delivered system configuration, data migration and staff training, with ongoing support following go-live. Together, the web administration tools and Wi-Fi scanning workflows provide a digital foundation for the authority’s repairs and maintenance stores.
